Zagreb – Plitvice – Split – Imotski – Dubrovnik

DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Arrive at the Zagreb airport. Private transfer to a hotel in the center of Zagreb. Meet the local guide for an introduction and a short walking tour of Zagreb, viewing all the main sights of the city. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 2: Zagreb – BIKE TOUR TO SLJEME
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with a specialized bike guide and enjoy exploring Zagreb in a different way. Explore Medvednica Mountain, which is situated north of the city. Most of the area of Medvednica is natural and its highest peak is Sljeme. You will have the opportunity to see the TV tower, Zagorje hills, Ski World Cup slope, Graficar hut, Zrinski mine, St. Jakob chapel, the medieval fortress of Medvedgrad, Queen's well, Sestine church, and ride back to Ban Josip Jelacic Square (the main city square). Spend the entire day in beautiful nature and discover one of the most beautiful places in the capital city. Cycling starts at the mountain summit, at 1033 m. The entire program takes about 4.5 hours. Return to the hotel for a free evening and an overnight stay.
DAY 3: Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes National Park – ZIPLINE (190 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with the driver and head towards Plitvice Lakes.
Upon arrival, meet the local guide for a 3-hour tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Plitvice Lakes National Park, the best-known Croatian national park was inscribed in UNESCO's list of World Natural Heritage sites in 1979. Sixteen lakes interconnected with waterfalls created by deposits of travertine, a special kind of limestone, constitute the main attraction of this unique park. The park includes the spring of the Korana River in an area surrounded by dense forests of beech, fir, and spruce, partly in the form of a primeval virgin forest. Apart from the lakes and forests, the park also has several caves, springs, flower meadows, and is inhabited by brown bears, among other animal species.
After touring and free time for an independent lunch, head to the nearby place of Rudopolje where you will have a chance to experience something amazing that will truly push you outside your comfort zone. Try ziplining on the first zipline in Croatia. Imagine being 80 meters above the ground and flying at 120 km/h for 2 km with the magnificent scenery of Lika below you. Pure adventure!
Afterwards, check into the hotel at Plitvice for an overnight stay.
DAY 4: Plitvice – Split (250 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with the driver and head towards Split with a stop in Šibenik.
Meet the local guide for a city tour of Šibenik, the oldest town on the Adriatic coast. A visit to the famous cathedral of St. James, one of the most beautiful and the most important Renaissance monuments in Croatia (part of UNESCO's world heritage). As part of the introduction to the Šibenik County and the abundance of its cultural heritage, visit the Medieval Mediterranean Garden at the St. Lawrence Monastery. Also visit the Barone Fortress located on a hill overlooking the city.
After some free time for lunch continue to Split. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 5: Split – BIKE TOUR (WALK)
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with a private guide for a bike tour through Split that will take 3-3.5 hours. Spend the day on an enjoyable bike ride through the town of Split and discover the culture and the nature of this Mediterranean pearl by cycling through the narrow streets of the old town, enjoying the seaside ride and the magnificent view of the town from the Marjan Hill.
Split is the "capital" of Dalmatia and is most famous for Diocletian’s Palace, which is the most important and best-preserved Roman building in Croatia, built between 295 and 305 AD. The sightseeing tour of the city includes Diocletian’s Palace (also registered on UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage sites) with Peristil, the Cellars, the Temple of Jupiter, and the Cathedral of St. Domnius.
DAY 6: Split – Imotski – Dubrovnik (280 km)
Visit Imotski to experience a Quad Safari - another adventure mixed with breathtaking natural beauty. The red and blue quad adventure takes place on over 60 km of adrenaline-filled trails near Imotski, and they pass through attractive countryside.
The trails are adjusted to beginners, but also to experienced drivers and the ride lasts about 4 hours.
Driving through combined trails. The tour of 6 lakes near Imotski. Driving near the Vrljika River. A tour of the city fortress and stadium. Have lunch at a country estate nearby. Continue to Dubrovnik for check-in and an overnight stay.
DAY 7: Dubrovnik - Sea Kayaking
After breakfast, meet with a local guide for a walking city tour of Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic. The walls of Dubrovnik encompass a perfectly-preserved complex of public, private, sacral, and secular buildings representing all periods of the city’s history, beginning with its founding in the 7th century. Particular mention should be made of the city’s main street, Stradun, the Rector’s Palace, the church of St. Blaise, the Cathedral, three large monasteries, and City Hall. The Republic of Dubrovnik was the center of a separate political and territorial entity, and was proud of its culture, its achievements in commerce, and especially of its freedom, preserved throughout so many tempestuous centuries. Take a cable car to Mt. Srđ and have a picnic lunch there, this will be the highlight of the day.
In the afternoon, to wrap up the tour, enjoy a private sea kayaking tour at sunset. This adventure on the Adriatic Sea starts beneath the Old Town in the small port called Pile. After short instructions, you will paddle beneath city walls, until you reach a hidden cave beach called Betina, where you will have a short break for swimming and snorkeling. From there, you will paddle around Lokrum Island and explore its caves. Upon your return, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent sunset beyond the Elaphite islands. When you return to Pile port, wine and a snack will be waiting for you.
DAY 8: Departure
After breakfast, free time until the pick-up for the transfer to the airport for the departing flight.
